aquarium bracing for 8x2.5x2.5

Hi,

Planning to have a 8x2.5x2.5 tank built. please comment on planned aquarium bracing,will this be good? any suggestions?
glass will be 1/2 inch thick.

I would say it will be fine on how you would like to brace the tank .

The bracing is made out of 1/2" glass or the whole tank is made out of 1/2" glass?

I hope the tank is going to made out of thicker glass than 1/2"!!!
