I have used this machine (actually my brother in law turned me on to it as he has been using it in his service business and says it is really good for tanks larger than a 60 gallon).

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the forum, and wanted to say hi. I've been out of the hobby for more than 10 years, but am getting back into it.

As I was pulling my acrylic aquarium out of dry doc, I noticed a large crack on the botton. Fortunately, I found some really good information on repairing cracks in acrylic aquariums. I was able to seal the crack, apply a patch, and now the aquarium is water tight once again.

I've been thinking about purchasing a wolf fish (Hoplias malabaricus) and turning my aquarium into a dedicated species tank. Any advice about caring for a wolf fish would be greatly appreciated!

I saw this product in an issue of Aquarium Fish Monthly. It is an APGV-100 produced by The Ancient Mariner Inc. Just wondering if anyone has used this product and can give me some reviews. Apparently it vacuums the gravel and detoxifies the water at the same time with no waste water.(www.theancientmarinerinc.com) Thanks in advance for the help.

Same idea, at a whole lot less money.
Using a Magnum would work as well.
