Aquarium Filter !!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
HI, Currently I am designing a filter ( out door) for my indoor Aquarium ( 6' x 2' x 2') . i am planning to use all 3 categories of filters for this , Submerged , tickle & fluidized filters for this. What will be the preferred, sequence for this ? Pls advise

What are you actually going to use to contain and house the bio filtration? Are you thinking pond style? I don't think it's a waste and some enjoy setting up these things. If it were me , I'd have mechanical and select one method of bio filtration and make it as best I can.

Is this a thing ? I've never heard of having a filter outside for an inside tank. I couldn't do that here in ny because of the winter. I guess I've never thought of it.

Yep, Here we dont have that kind of issue with the winter & summer . So i have taken pipes to out side under ground & filtration planned out side.

One more clarification ......When we are planning a filter for the Aquarium, what is the best practice for the filter capacity compared to Aquarium water capacity ? Any guide like as such ?
