News always reports on Piranha, for obvious reasons, but people probably do catch other types, like, oh i don't know... a big tinfoil barb or something..

Always been a goal of mine to catch a goldfish. Again I know its bad to release aquarium fish into the wild, just sayin' that's all.
they are not hard to catch, pretty much the same as carp fishing. I used to catch them all the time in a spot of the river where people used them as bait for flatheads.
I have not caught him YET! But I saw a 14"+ Red Belly Pacu in this little development pond in my neighborhood. Crazy because I live in a fancy neighborhood in Chandler, AZ......no way that Pacu swam across all those borders!
that is indeed a pacu they have preety badass looking teeth as well piranha teeth are triangular and interlocking those are definately not.kevinfleming21;4286712; said:

In the local canal there are usually a ton of goldfish right after the annual canal fest. Also, for some reason people find it funny to throw axolotls in there.
