I had a neighbor dump their fish into our pond. They look like they are goldfish as well as an huge algae eater. I will post a picture of it when I can. I am worried they won't survive over the winter. It is a very small 800 gallon pond.

do you have other fish in there?

go scream at them..tell them how wrong it was!!

....at least it was your pond and not a lake but GAH ..frustrating.

you could net them out & take to a LFS.

Lol @ it is a very small 800 gallon pond..That's hundreds of gallons bigger than my little puddle.

The algae eater looks like a pleco from pictures on the internet. It is a huge one too. Can it survive with a Jaguar Cichlid? I plan to get a 50 - 75 gallon tank to put my Jaguar in so perhaps I can put them together? Mags, my jaguar, is a real meanie! lol

Well, yes I had some really pretty goldfish but the 5" ones got eaten by a crane. There are some small baby ones in there now along with some black ones. I really am not sure what is in that pond anymore. I am not even sure what they dumped in there but so far nothing has floated to the top and they have been in there for about two weeks.
