the stuff I used on my wet/dry was similar....I just used pond filter tubing. It never kinks and is durable as hell. You can just use barb-NPT fittings. I honestly think its tougher and more durable than the other stuff, and just as visually pleasing.

i agree! i use clear vinyl tubbing and use hose barb to connect it with (for my return). those one's in ebay are also great just make sure they will fit perfectly on a 1" or 1.25" pvc pipe (a lot of them won't fit... just a reminder). I bought one like that but ended up returning it to the LFS (they didn't even have the tube for it). I emailed CPR (wet/dry manufacturer) they gave me a website where i can buy shaved pvc pipes with right hose for them. just be careful ask for the fitting and make sure they will fit to whatever you're going to connect them with. Why not try hard piping it? less movement and less stressful. (depends on your wet/dry).

Well the reason I'm not hard plumbing it is because I'm using one drain to the W/D, and one drain is going to be a fast gravity fed water change drain (200g tank), I'm going to set it so it will drain about 35-40%, and according to my calculations it will take about 3 minutes.....
