Ok I'm setting up the below aquarium. It's a standard 220 (72"x24"x30") and I'm looking at getting two koralia water pumps but I'm not sure what flow rate to get. I'm thinking either the 4s or the 3s.
i think the 4s will be a little to much flow for a smaller ray. i'm looking at getting a 8" ray to start or larger if the price is right. So I was thinking will two koralia 3s that have a flow rate of 840GPH be ok with the added flow from a FX5?
Also will I be able to add the koralia 4s when the ray gets bigger? along with another FX5?
The tank will also have one large piece of driftwood once I find the piece I like. It will need to be a branchy piece that won't touch the bottom that much. So the rays will not have to swim over it if they do not want.
so what will be better for a 8-10" motoro stingray.......
220 gallons with FX5, and 2 840 GPH koralias..... OR
220 gallons with FX5, and 2 1200 GPH koralias?
Or any other sugestions?
