aquarium in room

The only health hazard I can think of is spilling water on your floor and it molding. Aquariums accually prevent you from hitting the snooze button in the morning. Once I wake up, the noise that the filter makes is really annoying. Going to sleep is not a problem for some reason.
I had at least 1 tank in my bedroom for years. But I consolidated two into one and moved it out. I have a lot more sinus issues now that the tank is not in there. I may need to use a humidifier in the winter.
I loved it. When the fish get bigger it can cause them to make more noise should they jump near the surface at night. And if you had say a guest staying over it could really freak her out. I know this from personal experience. I miss the tank but no way my wife lets me put one back in the bedroom.
But 300 gallons in a bedroom? That's nuts. I can see that causing some problems with all the extra moisture. You may want to move it to a larger room with more ventilation. Pretty soon it will start peeling the paint off the walls and ceiling...

I envy all of you with a tank in the BR! I grew up with one in my room but now my GF is like nah and I am like please it's only 1 more tank! And she was like what size? I said 500g she was like Hell to da nah! LOL!
I wouldn't suggest anything bigger than, say about 30 Gallons. If you have a big bedroom, you can do a bigger tank, but I'd be wary
I've had tanks in my room before. It was fine. The only thing that was a pain in the butt was cleaning the tank.
