I work in a LFS. If i had someone do this to me i would pretty pi**ed!

He is saying these guys are professional and very good to for a long time, he has one bad experience and then he goes slagging them off. Thats completely stupid!! Behaviour of an idiot!

You obviously didn't fully read (or understand) his post either. He said he had been going to Petsmart for years and always had great experiences there. He found this new (to him) LFS which is supposed to be a nice place and on the first purchase from there he got burned by getting a sick fish.

Sooo... You're calling him an idiot because you did not correctly read or comprehend what he wrote.. Pot. Kettle. Black.

Thanks, but I don't know about that. I can be a bit abrasive sometimes. :naughty:

I do try to at least show some common courtesy and respect when communicating though (even on the internet), unless given a reason to do otherwise.

I would have said something the moment the fish got sick. They might have taken the time to help medicate the fish. I know when fish come from tanks you can drink from.... Yours might not be up to par with theirs. I would be pissed also. With fish anything can happen.
Please people still buy puppies from pet shops thinking they are the top of line with papers.... They are from puppy mills. You just take a risk when buying something.
 
this is the same store that "lost" a 18" aro i gave to them for credit. its a long story but it took me over 3 months to get my money out of them, and nobody knows how the fish dissapeared. ive tried dealing with these guys a few times on buying a custom tank and they couldnt even call me back with a quote, despite repeated contact on my behalf.

i can tell you theyve lost a customer than wouldve spent thousands in that store.
 
I love how this thread has grown into an adult bridge, feeding and sheltering several trolls, AT THE SAME TIME!!

Well here's the final outcome;

I lost the $16 severum.
Oh well.

Some time after the FIRST infection, I gave my pleco to an old neighbor because it was thrashing and hurting our big severum.

He brought a dormant virus with him and got her tank,
and the death toll was:
2 common plecos, 5" / 9"
JD's 9" / 6"
Convict 4"
Jaguar 7"
Goldfish 7"


And she used the EXACT same medicine, RID-ICH.

Basically darn-near killed her hobby.
And that last post should be enough to change the opinion of ANY store, fill in the blanks with any industry/item and thats still a horrible customer-service story.
