Hi guys just a quick question what are the best starter plants to add to an aquarium. For example grow on wood rocks an easy to keep ??? As want a natural look to my tank thanks...:tropicalf
 
Anubias and ferns work well.

Ceratophyllum demersum , aka coontail, is great. Thick, will tolerate low light and low nutrients, and can grow either rooted or floating. They are considered a pest just about everywhere, so you can get them free from a lake or pond. I rinse them with water mixed with a few drops of bleach first, which increases the mortality rate before the settle in, but eliinates much of the worry of intruducing things you don't want in your tank. (rinse off all the bleach BEFORE you put in your tank.)
