Aquarium plants

You want plants that anchor themselves to rocks or driftwood as most likely, your cichlids will rip them up. Its hard to rip up a mature anubias. Even hard to do by a human handm sometimes.

Java Fern, Java Moss, Anubias (All species) are the only plants I can think of at the moment that are suitible for a cichlid setup.

I have Anubias with my Oscar and Flowerhorns. They're pretty hardy plants except I had a crayfish in there and it nipped at the leaves.
