Hey guys, I’m thinking of getting a few plecos, loaches and woodcats and wanted to know what size tank I should keep them in. I only have to shelves on my rack available for tanks which measure 23.75x47.5. Below I will write what fish I want to keep alone or together and how make.

Tank 1:
(4) trachelyopterichthys taeniatus
(6) tatia musaica
(6) leptobotia micropthlama
(6) sinibotia reevesae

Tank 2:
(6)L046

Tank 3:
(4)L255 (4-6)L306

Tank 4:
(4)397

Sup Joel, long time. Getting back into the cool water loaches huh? My advice is pretty generic, but has weight in this particular case. Give them the biggest tanks you can fit. You're just shy of the 4' tanks so load up on 40 breeders.

Yea, I was thinking of a 40 breeder or a 30 breeder. I like the 30 cause it’s lower, but I guess the more water the better for the fish.

Exactly. You doing everything on air and sponges or a central sump? You've got good taste in fish so I'm glad to see you back into it bro.

A5675765-AA8B-41F2-9FB9-25E4AEFEFFB5.jpeg Thanks , I’m thinking of doing air and sponge until I get some in tank K1 reactors that some guy does 3D printouts of. I just bought 2 and I’m going to see how they do. I still haven’t set them up cause I still need to get some airline so I have them in the tank for the time so they can get some beneficial bacteria. Sorry for the bad pic.

Looking good. My buddy is into discus and has been using similar "bottle filters" filled with K1 for a couple years now. He swears by them. His fish do great so there's definitely merit to them in low to moderate stocked tanks.
