I was looking at a snowflake since I'm new to eels and I did a lot of reading about them so I figure it would be a good one to get my feet wet with. I just watched the brv video about the rocks. So I can see how that would be better. I think the 75 is a good starting point for me. my goal is a 220-gallon show tank.
If you have space and financial support then would be best to setup a 220G, the bigger the better and less change to messing up water chemicals in saltwater world. If you setup a 75G then move to 220G then you pretty much throw away all old equipments and buy all new one for 220G (filter, sump, skimmer, power head circulation...etc.) It's long process so you don't want to redo almost all process when moving up to 220G.

I agreee if you plan on upgrading relatively soon might as well wait till you set up the big tank. To put effort in any tank set up it will be costly
