That's a nice job you're doing with them. It's going to look great! Follow up pics are a must. Gotta show it off when complete.

Looks great! That's a tough call though....gf or 500 gallon tanks..... ;)

Nice build. Your basement looks so similar to mine. I wanted to put a tank in the wall but figured I might move and didn't want to repair the hole. Great work, enjoy

Ahh screw it. Do it!! What's a little drywall and mud??

Don't ya just LOVE a nice set of before and after pictures??????

And I see you had a little helper there too. Family projects are the best!

Good work bud!!!

Thanks!! Its always nice seeing before and after photos. Lol and I was wondering who was going to notice him. :) 6 months old and learning quickly.!

Looks really nice I like it.
Thanks!

Second Family room? Pfffft. That my friend is a certified Man Cave if ever there was one. The only thing that could make that more man cave would be a beer fridge beside the recliner (you need a recliner) and a urinal in the closest washroom.

Looks great! Awesome work! Glad to see it's in your basement and not upstairs like you mentioned in the original post. Not that 100g is all that horrendous for upstairs, but still a risk. I had a 29g let loose in an upstairs bedroom on me once. Luckily I was home and only half of it drained out, but it was still a mess.

Shoulda done a 6 foot tank in the wall down there!

Yes a family room ;) ;) You know I would never be allowed to do anything like this if it was a man cave.... :D

Yea. I thought the same thing. But the reason I did 4's is due to the support beams just behind the wall. They are positioned just perfectly to allow for 4' tanks. The 6' wouldn't fit. But I am thinking a 6' tank along the back wall. So if so I'll be sure to lost photos of that was well. Only thing I'm worried about is the electric bill. :D

**Brilliant Idea*** How about a bar along the back wall. With a tank built into the back wall with glass shelves and the tank in the center of it??? That would be amazing if I say so myself.!
