I also have a 125 in a second story apartment. It's completely fine there's nothing to worry about.

The weight should not be an issue, best to place the tank perpindicular to floor joists.

I agree - I have never heard of a tank falling through a floor.

but I have heard of floors sagging under the weight which is not good for your floor, obviously.

Funny story.... they guy wasn't 100% sure he wanted the tank and was going to get back to me. In that time another guy called me and offered me $100 more for the tank! Needless to say.... the sale is pending to the 2nd guy and pickup is in about an hour! Strike while the irons hot huh?!
