Years ago, people use to try to acclimate all sorts of cheap saltwater fish to freshwater. There were also chemicals that you could add to the water what would supposedly allow saltwater fish to live in freshwater. These fish tend not to live very long in freshwater so please, don't try it. If you want saltwater fish then get a tank for that, we can never have enough tanks :)

LOL Everytime I see Finding Nemo I freak out. I think it is hillarious that there are fake freshwater plants in a salt tank. I point it out every time I see the movie, but no one has a clue why I think its funny...... I know they are fake plants, but still. :screwy:

Sorry to deviate from the thread, but I thought I should share these thoughts with people who could appreciate the contradiction.

I had good experience with them.. What I like most about them is that their plants don't come with snail and sylvania(i am not sure if i spell it right, it is the floating plant that spread quickly and cover the surface of your tank). Price is fair IMO.

My overall experience with Aquariumplants is okay until i made my third order. Part of the order was (4) ebo Jager 250w Heaters. I ended up getting (2) 250w Heaters and (2) 200w Heaters. In order to get the 250W heaters i would have to ship back the 200w's which would just cancel out the point of buying them locally. The other problem was that both 250w heaters were broken. They would light up but create no heat. Lastly some plants i ordered for my brother didn't come in the greatest condition like brown/melting leaves and some where almost mush... (this was 2nd day air)
