I would get the 85 gallon but thats just me... 2 medium sized tanks isn't bad tough, are you putting convicts in both?

I rather get the 80 long too but like I said she never responded to my messages. Yeah most likely. Put a pair in one and maybe use the other to grow out their fry. Not really sure yet. I would like to do a pair of cons in one and a pair of firemouths in the other.
