when i was young and would skip the bars, or stay home to "clean my aquarium" they used to give me lots of ****, now even wife dont give me to much crap, but she does say "why cant we have pretty fish" a lot.

Ok back on. Just got another friend onto keeping, only starting with a 30g... I give them 6 months, then a 55 and 9 till a 100+

All of the girls at work say "oh, my god" when I tell them about me having to go home to do water changes in my 4 fish tanks. They ask all the time why so many and I tell them that I really enjoy fish keeping. One of my Fiance's friends came over and was making fun of him for letting me have 4 fish tanks, well he didn't tell him that one of those fish tanks is his. They went to the bar and this "friend" was telling everyone about our fish tanks and everyone was making fun of him, I felt so bad. But they are my pets and I love everyone of my fish.
When my wife and I got married my brother-in-law tried to talk smack on the sly about my tanks.When i reminded him that he talks with a lisp he shut up.

Ten years ago , I used to be all alone with this fish thing. Friends would lightheartedly call me Fish man or some corny nickname because i am into fish keeping. But i eventually got to the point where i actually convince my non fish friends to start because of what i keep. Call me shallow , but if that isnt satisfaction then i dont know what is.
