I'm a tad late but I have the answer.
lotus bulbs one in the center..
and let it grow out and bushy!
or.. divide the tank in three put one on the ouside two an leave the middle bare.. does that makes sense.
I just love the lotus tiger green either way they look great and provide leaves from the base to teh middle and the top

you can pile the woods on each other to create a cave for the fishes that looks like a teepee
