I am curious if I should go to natural plants, or just use the fake ones I currently have, I am trying to setup a natural tank and am curious about your opinions.

I am also running a hagen power glow 24 inch bulb and was curious if you have any lighting advice?

Thanks for looking!

You will find, in time, the need to buy another tank...........repeat :)

Just do it the way you like it.
That look is cool. Real plants are a bonus in several ways. Including the learning experiance.

wow, i love the tank!

what are the dimensions?

as for real plants.. u may want to research a bit more about them. depending on what u want to grow; it may be more difficult then u think.

u could always add some java moss or java fern. those are very hardy plants!

thankyou its a 36" 58 gallon thats what i was thinking was java fern and unubias thanks so much for the compliment

those plants would do fine they don't need co2 your lighting levels are good enough for them. but are slow growersIf you have some question we here at mfk cannot answer try www.plantedtank.net awesome place lots of info

ok awsome thanks everyone i love how it looks now but realy want to take a stab at live plants but im torn lol

If you decide to do the Java's & Anubia's (I would), make sure you dont bury the root ball or it will rot. Get some fishing line and/or weights to keep it attached to whatever decor you want & make sure it gets some flow. No fertilizers or you'll just start an algae farm...
