Nice I would have got one of those if they won't so expensive and included a cover (bichirs jump...)

Yeah, probably wouldn't be best for jumpers unless you make a lid out of netting (not hard to do).

But the net would spoil the entire appearance of the tank. LOL!

Not necessarily, you'd be surprised how far netting has come! A lot of it is near invisible. I'm not talking about the netting they use for fishnets, but the clear monofilament netting.

So the tanks came today!!!!! And they are gorgeous. I opened the 36x18x18 one. This one has a full height front wall, and is 1 cm acrylic all around. The top is nice because it's only got a thin rim around the edges and a center brace, rather than smaller holes like most acrylic tanks. Curved front corners... ahh it's lovely. It'll be my musk turtle's new habitat, filled about 3/4 full.

I left the 48x18x18 tank and stand in packaging, because I'm moving in 3 wks and these are too heavy for me to move, so I'm going to let the movers do it. I took a peek at the tank, though. It's got a "garden wall", i.e. the front wall is lower than the back. The height of the front wall is 12" so I can have the tank depth about 8-9" for my convict (just don't want it high enough that he jumps out). 1/2" acrylic all around, and curved front walls. This is going to be turned into a riparium for my con, some schooling fish, and maybe a few cories. God I can't wait.

Here's a pic of the 36x18 tank:
