I posted a new thread, but this one is so much more popular, so I will delete that one and put it in this one.

First Reptile

I am interested in a Crocodile Skink. This would be my first pet reptile and I don't really even know where to start. What is a good tank size for one, would a ten gallon tank be OK? Can you post some basic info about keep semi aquatic reptiles or just reptiles in general. What kinda equtiment should the tank have? How can I set up the tank so it has both land and water. Thanks for all your help and I am looking forward to your replies.
Oh and how much would one cost and where could I find one?

None your tank will get so scratched up you wont even be able to see your animals.

good point! i didn't even think about that. lizard+acrylic=you don't see him in 6 months

I marbled catshark 18in, Coral catshark 24in.

these sharks are fairly active and need atleast a 36" wide tank,

stick to normal fish, that you can afford

i would say crocodile skinks, but they can be a bit hard to keep especially if your new
