Hey Kavin,

congrats on the new camera, I'm sure you'll enjoy the heck out of it.

I actually produced this shot with a Canon 450D and the 75-300mm lens. The rest of the shots in this kelberi series (and quite a number of my photos in fact) were also done by the 450D.

I'm in the midst of producing a photobook/aquatic photography tutorial, inclusive of my workflow + post processing methods/tricks, be sure to check that out once it's out (if you want i can keep you on a list and notify you when the book is out:)).

in the mean time, this is a comprehensive (if somewhat outdated:( ) version of my workflow, http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/f...bers-Basic-photo-sessions-from-Prep-to-finish

congrats on the new cam again! thanks for commenting, and feel free to PM/post if you would like any help with aquatic photography:)

best of luck,
Alexander

Wow, I need to buy a better camera....the details on your shots are insane! GREAT JOB!

Thanks Bryan! But as i mentioned to Kavin, a lot of my shots were done with not-so-great gear (not that the higher end stuff doesn't help), but knowledge will take you much further than just equipment alone would - The stuff I've learned from the likes of Chaitika & Neoprodigy has served me better than any equipment would!!

Sure, looking forward to it! Although if i take a while to respond it's usually because I'm stuck in camp 5 days a week and have little to no access to the net!:Z

Sounds like I have a new topic to research. I would love to be notified when you put your book out. Sounds very informative. I will definetly look over the link you provided as well. Pictures like these are what first got me interested in the hobby, and push me to keep improving my tank setups.
