Was at the san Diego Zoo recently and they had a very cool aquatic turtle exhibit, unfortunately I did not pay attention to the names of the different species...one type had a really long neck.

Can anyone suggest some good aquatic turtles? I have a couple ~400gal stock tanks that could be used to house them.

The turtles with long necks are the "snake neck" turtles. There are a handful of different species. All are highly aquatic, but not completely aquatic like FRT's.

The long necked turtle is a Snake necked turtle (Chelodina expansa) these are in a pond with the pig noise turtle

I have a long neck turtle, check my avatar , he is a Florida Softshell he lives in my 75 gallon with some other fish, this isn't recommended due to the size they can get to be especially females, and they eat fish. Mine however hasn't bothered with the fish at all in about 4 months and surfaces for air but then borrows in the sand, best part of my 75 gallon hands down!!!

With 400 gallon tanks, there are lots of options for aquatic/semiaquatic species
