how long have you had it, and what else do you use alongside it??

I may just get one for my 110. Cause the uv sterilizer cOmbo is nice! I'm still on the fence. I may just spend the extra $60 and get an fx5 cause everybody says they're so great. Haha more experience from everyone. I just need something that will last a long time. It just looks like a sweet deal. Hopefully it lasts for you though man! If I was positive that it would then I would definitely get one.

I've been running a sunsun(same filter different name) for over a year and am quite happy with it. It's actually built with better quality than I expected and is dead silent. The flow is noticeably less than my fluval 405 but for the price difference I can buy two sunsuns for less than one fluval. If you do buy one don't get it from walmart though, you can buy one much cheaper from ebay or koienterprises here.

I also have one running on my 125 with a couple of aquaclear 110's and an xp2 canister. I have only had it for a couple of months but it does a great job so far. It has a good flow and I can pack lots of bio media into it. If you can go for the fx5 by all means do it but I honestly don't think you will be disappointed with the aquatop. I agree in getting it from koienterprises.
