I am interested. Had a friend buy one of their skimmers, but never used it.
I think with a couple of mods, their skimmers arent that bad. Although, i would run it in a sump... as opposed to HOB.

what mods are we talking about? I have one on the way and will be running it in a sump.

Agreed to that, my buddies was meant to be a sump one, but could have been run as a HOB as well.

I think most skimmers could be functionable with a few mods, its just that very few people have the know how or talent to make those things work.

Some just arent worth the effort.

Heath is the modding king.

Heath in phone conversation "Too bad I just voided my AquaC warranty..."

I still miss my other hobby :(

Aquatraders lights that I have personally used have been good and well worth their value. Yeah they are made in china but what product isnt these days? I live close enough to actually go to their warehouse and check out all the products available. But watch out for the seller that runs th storefront. He will give you different prices if keep on your toes. It seems they are also very racist meaning if you arent chinese or taiwanese and speak his language he feels he can talk to you the customer anyway he wants. So best bet is to buy online so you dont have to talk to any racist asians who own Aquatraders. Oh and if you want to try to enforce the warranty on any items they sell, you can forget about it! You need to show 3 proofs of id. Proofs of purchase. And even then they will still accuse you of breaking it yourself. So hope you get a good one from the start!

I have never had an issue with a defective one, and was not aware that they were so stingy.

The warranty does suck.
