Aragonite VS Crushed Coral !!

i may be mixing the two up, i do think what i bought was Caribsea though.
to be honest it doens't really matter, anystuff that does get stuck to the sand the emerald crab is usually all over in a flash.

I use Caribsea Aragonite in my tank and refugium. Love it, I have boughten live Aragonite from them before, however the majority of the Aragonite I placed in my tank was just dry.
Crushed Coral is very "Old School" in terms of SW tank set ups - It was the the regular norm about 15-20 years ago. But needed to be cleaned in a very regular basis to keep the tank fairly health. Major Problem with bio waste products being trapped among it.
Play Sand is better than CC. less chance of trapping waste.
But Aragonite(live Sand) is best - because it actually contains lots of nitrogen eating bacteria - to help break down waste. To help keep the water quality in the best condition possible, by helping to prevent nitrate/ammonia build up.
