I've visited several arapaima farms. Never heard of or seen any that stay 4 foot. That would be a goal they would all strive for.

He meant 6-7 years to reach 4 feet, not max out at 4 feet

If you do a search on MFK, the growth rate seems to be a meter in 6 - 8 months. Usually 1.5m at 2 years.

Damn, that’s crazy fast. I saw a YouTube vid that looked like 18” in a year but I’m not positive

The second batch has come in. The person who i’m getting these through got one at 4-5” 2 months ago and it’s now 7-8” with normal temp and feeding. Much smaller than a gigas would be after 2 months. Definitely interested to see how this turns out!
