Feed them what they eat in the wild...fish.

As for importing them, you need CITES paper work to cross the border, plus any additional exotic animal import papers Canada requires.

Wow didn't realize this was a haters thread.

At 1.5meters they should take almost anything that fits their mouth and their growth rate various. So it's hard to say.

dude.. haters thread? come on.. to have one pima is somethin.. but to have 9 and at 1.5 m each is a different thing.. and a pima is def not some beginners goldfish type fish.. you could say.. we got jealous.. and wanted to see the nine 1.5 m pimas and their tank.. no one hates fish on mfk..

9 dragon, seem very lucky, and they eat a lot. Los of people in Southeast Asia feed them tilapia because tilapia are easy to breed and grow very fast !

same. Gotta have a lake to house them

My lake is 20m by 40 m and they are 2 years old and I have them on a diet of frogs and feeder fish I'll catch and put in pond for people to see:chillpill:

The guy u said on the other thread knows nothing and arapaimas are wayyyy easier to care for than goldfish especially when in a 20x40 m lake with lots of other fish to eat every hour and I raised them from when they were 4 inches long in one pond then moved them back but I can't believe everyone thought I was so rich to buy 9arapaimas all around 1.5 meters!!!!!!!!!
