You're the only other person I've met whose been to Leticia. What did you do there? We stayed on a river house one might and then went and stayed in Brazil off the jaguar river for a week. Best experience of my life.

We stayed at Decameron hotel there! We did the day excursions and stuff, went all through the amazon also went to Brazil and Peru too! It was such an amazing experience! Can't wait to go back

I ate the arapaima in a tribe village deep in the amazon called Macedonia haha it was so amazing! Did you see the pink dolphins? And did you buy loads of the wooden sculptures ? I got like 10!

We stayed in this primitive area out in Brazil but Peru was right across the river.
I bought a wooden arapaima sculpture. Did you see at the airport gift shop they had real piranha sculptures for $5 each? Unreal lol.
I saw the pink dolphins, beautiful creatures! Our tour guide and the people we stayed with were natives so it was great. We were about a 4 hour boat ride east and then south and them west of leticia.

He is in new mexico. I am not sure how the temp is there but we will see soon i guess?


whats year around temp in winter/summer?

It's been in the upper 20's at night for the past week in Socorro New Mexico, which is above average for December; according to weather.com, avg low for December is 22F. The avg daytime high in December is 51F.

This half million gallon pond is going to require a nuclear power plant to maintain 80F in the winter.

I like it when people dream big, but this seems a bit far-fetched.
