well there is a small one around 5 inches in lfs and im saying such a little fish in a large pond. but i know they grow large but do they ussually become stunted has anyone had a arapaima that did not grow just out of curiosity i really dont want to keep a paima
I wouldn't start with one that small. Wait until they are 8" or bigger. Young are often pulled from the parental care too soon, and struggle due to diet/growth related issues.
okay then what about an arowana, 2 tsn and a spotted gar. not thinking of getting a paima but has anyone had their paima getting stunted or not growing i would like to know. and i was thinking of getting a rtc but now i won't since he will be a big problem
