arapaima tragedy

okay guys i got my pond ready and everything for an arapaima i ordered in lfs. but here comes the bad part the lfs guys put the arapaima in a mini pond in their shop about 3 feet x 2 feet the paima was little around 5 - 6 inches. next to the mini pond there was a slightly large pond housing 2 alligator gars that were around 20 inches. the arapaima jumped out of the pond and landed inside the alligator gar pond as soon as it jumped the guy was tared to bits by the gar. dammit hate those gars.
idont know what the lfs guys were thinking:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:
 
That was rather stupid to have the pima next to another pond. They should know that they jump

...and did you have to put a deposit on the first one?...This happened to me years ago but instead of a paima it was my first ever jardini.
 
Sounds like quite the story.
 
That sucks. I lost 2 Pima to a bad bottle of prime. That made my second bad bottle of prime in 6yrs of using it. Both bad bottles were resent.
