Hi!
Would those who are experienced with the Arapaima please tell me:
(1) what would be the best diet for a baby Arapaima that is about 7 inches long?
(2) if there are books on the Arapaima that you would recommend?
Thank you.

Ya there kind of a unknown species so its prbly hard to find books

Not an unkown species of MFK :D

Never heard of any books on pimas. You can feed them lots of stuff depending on the pima at that size. Pellets, guppies("homebreed") etc.

To change things up when it gets bigger, you could always feed it small birds as a treat :) They'll eat just about anything that fits in their mouth. I'd ask Zoodiver about their diet, he has one at the aquarium he works at, and it looks amazing!!!

yea, things like hotdog, meat, sliced fish, small lizard are includes in pirarucu menu..
