OIC, u all taking abt araipaima gigas.
If it is a couple of feets (<3) still can be kept in tanks, with good cover, any larger than that, u better have a pond, huge bugger can go up-to 8 feets.
 
sorry for the loss bro,, I got 3 arapaimas recently from Anthony,, they are all around the 5" mark,, doing pretty well so far,, only eating live fish though.

Sorry for the loss R1_Riodah, hope te get one or two soon myself.....What fish did you have him with just in case. Talked to a guy about rays related a story of a friend who purchased a $2000.00 Silver Aro and his 22" ray came up and ate him in one bite. They said it looked like he was eating a noddle.
