bro, sorry for the late reply.. got my pima @ cartimar.. it's actually my second.. the 1st was too young when i released it in my pond so it eventually died (some kinda disease)... i'm now keeping my 2nd pima in a 75 gal tank & have a 100 gal waiting when it grows a bit bigger (it's abt 14" long now)... got it for P3T... was at cartimar last sat & there's only 1 availablee for P 6T (totally overpriced!)...

for what it's worth, mine is still during his 8 hrs of tanning ang when I dark out the tank, he is active. Very nocturnal, or not turnal, which isn't the norm, but get him on hikari and maybe crickets, tanin the water with a malaysian bog log, peat or almond tree leaves, it reduces stress and mellows them. ive had that happen before, new scale is growing in, so its dark after it falls off
So far, everytime he pulls a headbanger or faceplant or jumping practice, if he knock a scale off immediately it's silver. After a few hours, it's black, then where the scale was is darker (bruised up good on the last one) but it heals and grows back in his beautiful color. Thank God for that, otherwise I'd have a new species, Appaloosa Arowana! (you know...Appaloosa's are spotted horses) Wonder what he'll do today........

Way cool vid. Evolution b4 our eyes. Thoe front legs on that thing are a little creepy. If my aro had front feet, he's chase me all over the house after jumping out:ROFL:  , can u see a vid of that?
