Adam - how cold does the water get around you during the winter?

Amazonian fish are tougher than people give them credit for - a prime example is that Pacu max growth rate doesnt even slow until they hit 65F. Massive flooding in those areas during the rainy season means they can handle lower temps than some tropicals from other areas. Then again - not best to gamble with a $300 + fish.

Around 60F lowest, i could put them in an indoor pond at our beach house we just bought but if your buying them I wont I know you need them more then I do
