Hey! Hope y’all are good.
Context is I recently moved my arapima to my 180 gallon and he quickly began to have damaged fins and some parasite looking thing over his eye. 1 month ago I treated him for cloudy eyes and I was able to successfully remove it.

Please help me identity what is going on and what I should do! Thanks

How long has the tank been running? Is it cycled? Positive ammonia readings indicate the tank isn’t cycled, and the ammonia is a toxin to the fish.
Additionally, are there any tankmates that may be harassing it?

Hey thanks for your response! The tank has been cycled for 1 week. I’ve dosed it with prime and stability and gotten a 0 nitrate, 0.02 ammonia which was the best result I got. The rest of the fish are good but the arapima seems to struggle the most with new water. As last time I moved it to this Aquariam before I re did the cycle, it had gotten cloudy eyes which I mediated as was able to remove. What may be the problem?

Sounds like the tank isn’t cycled - you should start to see positive nitrate readings in a cycled aquarium, and nothing on ammonia. That can cause all sorts of issues.
What are the other fish? Some tolerate it better than others, and if they’re picking on the arapima they will only make matters worse.
