Hi I really need some info on some archer fish I would like to keep. I have a 20g for them and I was wondering if that was ok, anyway I need to know the aggression on these fish and what to feed them. Any other info is welcomed! Please help! Big thanks!

They need a bigger tank for sure like 100g plus. They are also brackish depending on which species you get. You need a bunch of them to reduce aggression and bullying. They can be fed flakes/pellets and live insects.

isnt their max size like 12 inch, as above, house them like an oscar... 90g for 1, 125 for 2 ect ect. really cool fish. personally i think a tall 225g with 75 percent water and 25 air and plants leaving the water then you can add insects and watch em shoot, gotta be done if you have archers surely...

But you need more than 2 of them to reduce aggression and a dominant fish. Otherwise they will get bullied and won't eat and die.

Ok ill try to grab a 100g next trip at the lfs. Anyone know the price and where I can get them? Also I want a freshwater species so which one is that?

Check ichiban I think thy had some.

Anyone active here have these guys ? I was just thinking about Brackish tankmates for my Gymnothorax tiles and moronically Achrerfish came to mind, not thinking they'd be food for the Morays, but at 12", the Morays wouldn't even try.

Certainly would make it harder for the Morays to escape if the top 25% of the tank wasn't even underwater and covered in plants and bugs.....I guess the bugs wouldn't have a hard time escaping though...

Hey, look at the bright side.....I could feed them both crickets!!!:)
