I've been told that Toxotes jaculator can be kept in full freshwater - can this be confirmed, please? I have a chance to get some, but need to know this first.
Also, do they play well with other fish? What is their aggression level?

I've seen them be kept in fresh water but they first have to be acclimated. And I'm not sure if they can live they're entire life in fw. Sorry, I'm not sure of their aggression toward other fish.

Generally only see banded archers in the estuaries and lower fresh around here. Having said that they can live happily in a freshwater aquarium if acclimated and kept in harder water. Easier to just use chatareus though. T.chatareus will and does live and breed in full fresh, I have them in my pool.
