That's not a horrible price. I think you should get rid of the other fish and get the archers. :D I'm a fan of brackish fish and tanks lol.

I have one, looks just like that second pic. Very entertaining, as when Im not looking, he(she?) will spit at me to get me to feed him(her?).

Any chance anyone *listening* knows how to sex these fish? Mine is about 1.5 years i my tank (@1.012 OP...)

I have it housed in a 50G column @ 36x18 footprint with a GSP and dragon goby(goby/puffer mix not advised! one ore the other with the archer)
 
if they are T. microlepis then it is ok to keep them in freshwater but it needs to be hard water not soft.

the way to tell is the dorsal marking. In t. jaculatrix and t. chatareus, the dorsal strip will continue from the body up onto the dorsal fin and be connected. on T. microlepis the strip is broken into two, one portion on the body, and then a break on the body-fin interface, then the marking appears again on the fin.

It is subtle but accurate.
