I gotta tell you man I really miss having a P right now. I miss it while I'm watching the constant motion of the separate levels of my tank. The platys stay at the top, when they have fry the cichlids chase it around and eat it. The cichlids are like 40 different shades of green and blue, and they communicate to one another by changing colors and nipping each others fins. The male spends a lot of time doing backflips through the bubbles from the airstone. The goodieds do their own thing and have interesting breeding behavior too. I missed having a piranha so bad I had to go out by an ancistrus just so I could have another really cool looking fish that sits there like....well like a knot on a log. The fliers swim right up like puppy dogs.
Yeah I'll tell you man...I sure wish I had a whole tank dedicated to one super skittish and shy fish right now...

actually now that I think about it, when I turn the lights off, HE even comes out and swims all around the tank...so I guess I'll have to keep looking for a fish that's less fun to watch than my old P was...
Now I guess it's time to pop another cold one and head back to the arm chair in front of the tank...
