Hey, I was hoping to get some help with spawning my Archocentrus centrarchus. I have a male with 2 females and another pair I seperated from the group, the dominant male would push the other male into a corner and the females would constantly push the 3rd out of their rock pile. Males are 6” and females around 4”. Both are in 55’s and the single pair have plecos/corys/small convicts as dithers. The two females in the trio both have claimed their own rock pile so far they’ve only used them to hide from the male who chases them, the single pair show similar behavior with the male chasing the female when she comes out to feed. Their staple diet has been Vibrabites but the past few weeks I’ve been feeding lots of blood worms and offering bug bites. I’ve been doing daily 50% cold water changes for a week or so with no action then back off to once a week again for a while. I’m in Georgia with very low KH and don’t use any buffers. Temp is set to 80. Using a fluval spray bar on a marineland canister filter for relatively low flow and the power head is never on. Any experience or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
