Anyone have any info on care for these guys? I have an empty 40 that I want to get some breeding going and wondering if anyone has a some breeding pairs that can give some useful information?
I’ve had centrarchus a few times in the past so while you can certainly grow them out in a 40B I’ve had a few fish over 7 inches. So long term I’d recommend an upgrade to a 4ft tank. They’re quite peaceful and easy on tankmates.
I still have two tanks with panamenis and they’d do quite well in a 40B for life, one of my favorite fish. They’re a little feisty when compared some other Cryptoheros(now in Panamius)in regards to tank mates and con-specifics.
