Are armatus easy to pellet train?

Well I know how to do it with ATF at least. I starved it for 2 weeks and finally it learned. However I feel like I see payara eating pellets way less then ATF.

FWIW, I was able to get both of my old payaras on pellets. It wasn't easy though.
 
I got my armatus to eat hikari floating sticks. Threw em down the ac110 and look like little swimming fish and he ate 4-5 day. but after that tilapia was more on mind

I wanted to focus on a few, special fish. I had a pretty large stock going and cut buck to focus on my aro, gatf and catfish. I figure a few large, flawless fish would be more impressive than a bunch of large, possible torn up fish from fighting.

Plus, I'm going to be moving across country in a few months and I don't want to have to move too many big fish.
