are bamboo shrimp predatory?

ok so I just bought 2 of them for my 55 planted tank. if I put a peice of drift wood in the front of the tank where my AC70 returns will that be enough current?
 
Bamboo shrimp are filter feeders, not predator at all. They don't have the desire to harm any animal, but even if they did they just don't have the equipment to do any harm! These are quite possibly the most harmess freshwater shrimp.
