Are blood parrots underrated?

Mine started out very aggressive, and now they are like little puppies..nice ones... My female now eats straight out of my hand.. The only time they are really aggressive is when they are mating.. or have already laid eggs...
 
Just got one 2 weeks ago, didnt like hybrids at all, but my Parrot is definitly cool and is growing on me big time!
 
If anything or anyone who owns a flowerhorn - well you own a BP/KKP too. They are a big part of flowerhorn's recipe in general. :D
 
Maybe BP's were a bad idea to start but there are lots of them out there. And I have to say that my BP's have always been the healthiest fish I own. They are also some of the most colorful fish you can get for a freshwater tank. My nephew loves to watch them. So I would have to agree and say they are unappreciated!
 
I had one for over a year, came with a used tank I bought. I can say I will never own another, find them very unattractive and not as interesting as typical SA/CA cichlids.
 
I think they are very interesting little fish that get a bad wrap for being hybrids.
Mine were very social interesting guys who really brighten up a tank. They also do a great clean up job.
