My albino cory's ( surprize!) spawned some time in the last 48 hours.. was just doing a water change because one of my starry night eels is acting very odd.. she's bloated ( no discoloration, and laying sideways at the bottom) the water tested fine.. so what does one do? well of course water changes! ... So i found a clump of small eggs at the top of the tank along the waterline where a peice of driftwood also snugs in. I'm wondering if she gorged herself on cory eggs? I have 3 good sized cory's in the tank 3 clown loaches, a male betta, 2 starry night eels. and some new glow-light tetras... never had my cory's lay eggs at the top f my tank.. but i have had corys spawn for me before, 99% sure this is what i'm seeing. So... are their eggs poisonous to other fish? I'm monitoring my eel, and did add a health dose of prazi last night when she first started acting odd. this has happened before with her in this tank and a round of good water changes seemd to clear it up.. but I'm wondering if this isn't the first time they've spawned. I feed the tank a mix of spirilinia flakes, NLS thera A, and live blackworms ( for the eels) So the corys are def in breedable conditions. My other starry night btw is fine.. just poking his head out to the sand. btw if i do get any vibale young i'll post pics.
