I agree with RD on the Stendker discus. Amazing discus. Only domestic discus to get imo. Check out his utube interviews, interesting guy. Customer service is top notch
Are discus hard to keep?

Not sure if he is the distributor up there, could be someone else, but all the discus blood is the same coming from Germany
I also seen Hans when he got his shipment from Germany, he just pulled the Discus out of the bags by hand and dumped them in the tanks! No dripping or acclimated.
Yes they are a bit more sensitive to water conditions & yes if you wanna raise juvies to adults it's gonna be a bit more difficult work wise than gold fish but they are not 'hard to keep'. If you have the money adults are less work intensive. They are their own reward. Here are some of mine from "Hans".
