Well you could use more then one if you really needed to, check this out http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/showthread.php?t=66050 page 2 or 3 they turned one of these into a timer. Which is what I did, also I have an off delay timer inside turn off my pump for 10 mins for feeding which is the red button.

I've been using the same DJ strip for around 10 years and I love it! The individual on/off switches are handy.
Nice DIY! If I did one myself I'd pull out all the stops and have a manual swtich control in conjuntion with a remote control. Could you imagine doing a water change all by remote? hahahaha
