are freshwater stingrays really freswater or are they brackish????

This obviously says how much you know about rays...teacup is not even a species...sand is not mandatory...teacups in general, come half dead most of the time, not easy to keep at all...

If you have done so much research then you should know what type of ray you are hoping to buy????

There are freshwater, brackish and salt water rays each with there own water requirements!!

If you say freshwater then obviously its as it says 'freshwater'.

You cannot put a salt water into fresh and vise versa!!!

Do some more research into which type of ray you are look to keep and maybe post some pictures and then maybe we can answer your questions as i'm sure most people are here to help.
